Lake Kraiger
Idyllically situated is also the Kraiger Lakewhich is perfect for a detour after cycling excursions or hikes in the region. North of St. Veit an der Glan, the small but beautiful Kraigersee is the ideal lake to enjoy some peace and quiet and recharge your batteries. The water depth increases rapidly near the shore, and the shallow basin of the lake, formed by ice-age glaciers, has a maximum depth of 10 meters. Lake Kraiger is mainly fed by groundwater, the surface springs are not productive.
