The Urbansee in St. Urban is an idyllic bathing lake at 745 meters above sea level and a popular destination for families. In addition to a spacious sunbathing lawn, there are table tennis tables, a volleyball court and a large water trampoline for sporting activities and fun in the water. In the summer months, there are regular events for young and old that combine the experience of nature with entertainment.

The nature discovery trail extends around the lake and leads through the nature reserve. Visitors follow old paths to discover the diverse flora and fauna, including water birds, dragonflies and amphibians. The story of Rhiannon, the guardian of Lake Urban, and Mithras, the god of sun and light, accompanies visitors on their way. Experience and information stations offer interactive opportunities to get to grips with the nature and history of the lake. Folding panels, wooden telescopes and revolving panels make exploring the lake an exciting and educational experience.
