Get to know wild herbs
How does yarrow work, what ingredients does a good herbal salt need and how do you make your own incense?
Uta-Elisabeth Haimburger answers these and other questions during three-hour guided culinary wild herb hikes in Brückl in the Görtschitztal valley. But that’s not all. In addition to showing and explaining, tasting is also very important to the qualified wild herb teacher. For this reason, the herbs can also be tasted in processed form.
Through meadows, fields and meadows
The diverse offer ranges from freshly prepared spreads to syrups, wild herb cocktails and smoothies. Incidentally, the guided tours are not limited to the carefully tended herb garden around the house, but continue through meadows, fields and meadows. The absolute highlight of the hike is the sun-drenched beech hall. Sheltered by hundred-year-old beech trees, you can sit here and take in the impressive natural surroundings.
Forest bathing (Shinrin Yoku) and art in the wild herb garden
In addition to the wild herb hike, Uta Haimburger also offers forest bathing and art in the wild herb garden.
Forest bathing immerses you in the tranquil atmosphere of the forest. It strengthens the immune system and offers all-round relaxation. Studies have proven this healing effect.
Other interesting art objects such as rose arches, obelisks, sculptures, a marble mushroom or a horizontal g’Hag (wooden fence) can be found in Uta Haimburger’s wild herb garden and fit perfectly into the garden.
